Thoughts: On MJ's Death

Consider this the first and the last time I'll say anything about Michael Jackson's death. Not that it would matter at all, but what the hey. I grew up listening to Jacko's music and was saddened by the news of his death. That fateful day, the world bid a pop icon goodbye one last time.

What's funny was how a lot of people reacted to his death. Sure he was a legendary pop star, but he was no saint either. So to lament over his death for days on end is a bit of an overreaction, don't you think? Here in the Philippines, music channels have been playing Michael Jackson videos left and right.

Could we just stop it already? We've all paid tribute to the King of Pop for a day or two, maybe it's time we all gave it a rest. It's starting to get annoying. (As you can tell, a lot of things annoy me.)

Just one final question, though. How could someone so rich and powerful end up $30M in debt? Tsk. What a waste.
